Our client, a respected and community focused insurance agency, is seeking a knowledgeable and organized Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative . In this role, you'll support commercial insurance accounts across new business, renewals, and daily client service. You'll ensure accurate policy administration, compliance, and deliver exceptional client experience while working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities : New Business Support
- Manage incoming commercial insurance leads.
- Prepare applications, proposals, and quote requests.
- Gather underwriting information and required documents.
Client Service
Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs).Process endorsements and policy changes accurately.Assist with billing questions and provide basic claims support.Respond to client calls and emails with professionalism and urgency.Renewal Support
Schedule and coordinate renewal review meetings.Collect renewal documents and update applications for remarketing.Administrative
Ensure all documents meet compliance standards.Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.Qualifications :
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.High school diploma or equivalent (required)Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Experience with COIs, endorsements, and carrier communication.Familiarity with Nexsure or similar agency management systems.1-2 years of insurance experience (Commercial Lines preferred)Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)Active Florida 440 or 220 licenses required (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Commercial Lines experience with GL, WC, BOP, Property, Auto, and Umbrella policies preferred.
