The role you'll contribute :

\n \n\n \n

Responsible for providing appropriate care to patients within the scope of state regulations. This position assists in various aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician. Additionally, this role includes patient care management, administrative and clinical procedures, and managerial functions. In addition, this position adheres to ethical and professional practice standards in all endeavors. Additionally, this role leads evidence-based patient care services through team education, rounding, training, and continuous safety and quality improvement.

Manages patient care by reviewing Inbasket, schedules, radiology, and lab results, answering phones, and communicating with patients.

\n \n

Prepares next-day patient charts, ensuring all necessary information is available and communicated to doctors and front office staff.

\n \n

Assists physicians and advanced practice providers with medical equipment and procedures as needed.

\n \n

Maintains timely communication with patients regarding surgery, prescriptions, and testing.

\n \n

Ensures efficient patient work-up flow and triage responsibilities.

High School Grad or Equiv - Required

\n \n

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

\n \n

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - Required

Technical / Vocational School Required

\n \n5 Work Experience Required\n \n\n \n
