Description :

This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care - Stepdown.

The shift is 3 nights per week, each 12 hours long.

The nurse will typically manage a patient ratio of 1 : 4.

Charting will be conducted using Epic.

Candidates should possess experience in cardiac telemetry, central line care / management, and management of dysrhythmias.

Skills in the use of high-flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management are essential.

The position may involve floating to units of equal or lesser acuity.

Weekend coverage may be required every other weekend if needed.

Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

The nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
