Setting :

EMR : Epic

Must be willing to float to OR / Surgery

26 Anesthesia Locations : 19 within Saint Vincent Hospital, 4 at ASC across the street, 2 at Endo Center, 1 at Westfield Memorial Hospital.

11 MD, 32 CRNA Anesthesia Care Team Model

There is always 1 MD and 2 CRNAs in-house 24 hours a day

Physicians generally supervise CRNAs

Medically Directed, 1 : 2 or 1 : 3

Docs mostly do regional and epidurals. Docs have a great relationship with CRNAs and would possibly be open to a CRNA doing them if they really wanted to.

CRNAs do not do cardiac

Case Mix :

• Case Volume : 19,572 Annual
• Ortho, GI, general, OB, GYN, urology, vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, thoracic, cardiac (including 152 open hearts). Some trauma.
• Spinals and A-Lines Optional

Scheduling / Call :

• Shift Times : 8h Shifts (5 / Week)
• Call : No

Rates :

• Max Rate : $225 / h + Travel
