Job description

Apply for this opportunity as a PET Technologist in the Imaging department with a top healthcare facility in Wasco, California!

Job Summary : PET Technologist

Education & Experience :

  • Must meet Federal, State, and local guidelines for education and experience.
  • Current ARRT & Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification.
  • Valid California Nuclear Medicine license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PET Technologist (preferred).
  • Current First Aid & BLS certification.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.

Responsibilities :

  • Explain procedures to patients and prepare / administer radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Capture high-quality images and maintain patient records.
  • Operate and maintain equipment; adhere to safety regulations.
  • Perform phlebotomies, IV starts, and administer radionuclide doses.
  • Participate in meetings, continuing education, and stay updated on technology.
  • Ensure timely completion of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care and maintain necessary supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and composure under pressure.
