Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,776 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Cath Lab Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 9 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week, starting at 7 : 00 or 7 : 30 AM, ending around 4 : 30 or 5 : 00 PM Experience : Minimum of 3 years in Cardiac, Cath, or Vascular nursing required License : Current state nursing license Certifications : BLS (AHA) required Must-Have : - EPIC electronic medical record experience - TEE and cardioversion experience Description : This position offers same-day interviews. Qualified candidates are encouraged to prepare for a call. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care. You will apply the nursing process to provide care to patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures. The unit consists of 2 procedure rooms and 3 pre / post bays with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 3. Required to work during winter holidays, specifically 2 of the 3 major holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving). Limitations apply to requests for time off around the holiday season. First-time travelers are accepted with the requisite experience. Candidates must complete a clinical interview pre-screening.
