New Jersey Licensed Peer Support Specialist

A company is looking for a Peer Support Specialist II (Part-Time) for the NJ Hopeline.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients in a therapeutic manner and provide peer support

Assist clients in identifying personal recovery goals and develop intervention strategies

Advocate for appropriate resources based on assessed client needs

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Four years of full-time experience in the mental health care field

Self-identified current or former user of mental health services with at least one year of experience supporting others

Knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation and the recovery model

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
