About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP Loan Operations Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of loan processing, including the preparation of loan documentation, lending files, collateral maintenance, records, reports, and loan compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with lending officers, credit department employees, and clients, as well as resolving problems, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the loan operations department. A key requirement for this role is a deep knowledge of both commercial and consumer loans, complex real estate transactions, and Small Business Administration (SBA) products, along with a strong background in operational management. This role demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, who is a subject matter expert in loan processing and documentation. The VP Loan Operations Officer will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in traditional application software, lead and develop a team, and possess excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities also include training and coaching staff, streamlining processes for efficiency and compliance, and maintaining a current working knowledge of lending compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and recommending process improvements to ensure customer satisfaction and will be involved in both internal and external audits.
