About the Opportunity
Our client, is a highly respected and growing firm is seeking to add a Financial Reporting Lead to its accounting and finance team. This is a hybrid role.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide direction and review for all fixed asset activity handled by the Senior Accountant, including capitalization, disposals, and depreciation.
- Develop, update, and validate consolidated schedules and capital expenditure summaries used by leadership and external auditors.
- Handle financial reporting and compliance requirements for several joint venture entities, applying GAAP and internal standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver partner-ready reports that are timely, complete, and accurate.
- Lead accounting processes for the organization’s self-insured captive, preparing liability and workers’ compensation schedules.
- Coordinate with actuarial, risk management, and other groups to assess reserves, validate assumptions, and ensure reliability of reported figures.
- Compile supporting documents for quarterly and annual SEC filings and maintain disclosure checklists in accordance with GAAP requirements.
- Conduct technical research on accounting topics and produce ad hoc reporting when requested.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards.
- Promote communication, collaboration, and a culture of trust within the team.
- Demonstrate consistent, dependable attendance and alignment with organizational priorities.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.At least seven years of progressively responsible accounting experience.Advanced Excel capabilities and strong proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite.Sound judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary : $85,000 – $110,000Bonus EligibilityComprehensive Benefits Package
