Job Title : Clinical Director

Reports To : Regional Director

Job Purpose

The Clinical Director is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional ABA services by leading a team of BCBAs, maintaining high clinical standards, and aligning operations with Triangle ABA’s values and growth objectives. This position blends strategic oversight with direct clinical involvement, including carrying a small caseload and ensuring all clinical staff are meeting quality and compliance expectations.

Top 5 Responsibilities (Strategic & Operational)

  • Clinical Excellence & Outcomes :

Ensure delivery of high-quality ABA services through direct supervision of BCBAs, maintaining fidelity to best practices, and utilizing data to drive clinical decisions. Monitor progress on caseloads, risk stratification, and treatment effectiveness.

  • Leadership & Team Development :
  • Build and mentor a high-performing clinical team by conducting performance evaluations, delivering feedback, managing corrective actions when needed, and aligning team goals with the company’s vision. Lead daily huddles to align priorities, resolve challenges, and maintain team cohesion.

  • Operational Excellence :
  • Collaborate with scheduling, billing, intake, and operations to ensure clinic goals are met and maintained. Use data systems (e.g., Catalyst, Central Reach) to manage staffing ratios, billable hours, and compliance tracking.

  • Training & Talent Development :
  • Serve as a mentor and trainer to BCBAs, and RBT Supervisors. Oversee onboarding and upskilling initiatives, and contribute to CEU event planning and internal training development.

  • Strategic Growth & Culture Leadership :
  • Support expansion efforts by contributing to hiring, interviewing, and community outreach. Champion company values and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Partner with the Regional Director to align clinical practices with business priorities and EOS goals.

    Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising RBTs and BCBAs
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (Team Lead or higher)
  • Proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead clinical teams
  • Familiarity with billing, compliance, and managed care practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and lead through delegation and systems
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a Clinical Director or Regional role
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
  • Experience in clinic-based service delivery and multi-site management
  • Experience with value-based care or outcome-based models
  • Public speaking or CEU presentation experience

  • Full-time position with in-person responsibilities
  • Expected to maintain a small caseload (8–10 clients)

    Compensation & Benefits

  • 90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
