Certifications and Licenses :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (underline and bold)

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (underline and bold)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (underline and bold) — preferred

Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy OR environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

Assist with neuro / spine, ortho / trauma, general, and robotics surgeries, including complex craniotomies and burr hole procedures.

Prepare surgical equipment and environment, ensuring all sterile protocols are followed meticulously.

Monitor patient vitals and respond swiftly to any intraoperative changes.

Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other staff to ensure smooth procedural flow.

Document accurately and comprehensively within electronic health records.

What You Bring :

Proven experience in neuro / spine, ortho / trauma, general surgery, robotics, or trauma OR.

Hands-on experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures is required.

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative patient management.

Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to respond promptly in high-pressure situations.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to adapt to a demanding schedule and work flexible call and late hours as needed.

Preferred Education & Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, specifically in neuro / spine and trauma surgeries.

Prior experience working with robotic surgical systems is advantageous.
