Job Summary

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical and Telemetry team in Augusta, GA. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population of adult patients requiring medical, post-surgical, or continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while supporting a culture of excellence, empathy, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based nursing interventions.

Monitor patients requiring telemetry, identify changes in cardiac rhythms or vital signs, and respond appropriately.

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with established protocols.

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other care team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.

Document patient care activities, assessments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record with accuracy and timeliness.

Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and professional development activities.

Serve as a mentor and resource for new staff members and support a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing ( BSN preferred

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia (or Compact License).

Current BLS certification required;

Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry experience preferred.

Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach.
