Sentara Health is hiring for a Proposal Coordinator! This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours) with standard working hours from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday. This is a remote position with the expectation to report to Sentara Park (1300 in Virginia Beach, VA) approximately once a month for in-person meetings. Candidates must reside within driving distance of the office, preferably within the Hampton Roads area (including Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Hampton, Virginia Beach, and Suffolk).

This position is on the RFP / Proposal Team. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of quality, compelling proposals including pre-submission and post-submission processes in collaboration with Marketing and Sales team members and subject matter experts throughout the organization. This individual will focus on representing the health system through an understanding of the company's mission and vision, community presence, strategic objectives, core products and services, and continuous advancements. They should be able to thrive under and manage strict deadlines and changing priorities, understand and communicate complex topics, lead meetings with and interview subject matter experts including Directors and VPs to develop unique solutions, translate jargon into understandable language, and craft clear, compelling stories. This position is remote with occasional in-office work at the Virginia Beach headquarters for team meetings, networking, and print production as needed.

Education : BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree - Business Administration / Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communications, or English - REQUIRED

Certification / Licensure : No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience :

• 5 years- related experience (proposals, project management)
• 1 year in Healthcare
• 5 years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or related field required.
• 5 years of print and Web graphics experience preferred.
• Requires advanced desktop publishing experience and competency in Adobe Acrobat
