Youth Support Specialist! | $35 / hr.

The Youth Care Worker (YCW) is responsible for the oversightand safety of children or adolescents in a variety of secure setting caresettings. The Youth Care Worker willinteract with the youth in a positive manner while assisting them with dailyactivities and implementing treatment plans.

The Youth Care Worker will display a professional and caringattitude and will encourage positive behaviors through effective communication,decision-making, and problem-solving. The Youth Care Worker will respond to emergencies and assist in theredirection of youth when needed.

Minimum Requirements :

Associate's Degree in social sciences, counseling,behavioral sciences, human services, criminal justice, education, or childdevelopment preferred

A minimum of 2 years' experience in the care, custody, orpersonal guidance of youth

Bilingual or multilingual may be preferred in somesettings

Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
