Principal Engineer Cyber Incident Response

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer - Cyber Incident Response.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical response and investigation of complex security incidents

Provide expertise in forensic analysis, malware reverse engineering, and threat hunting

Develop incident response playbooks and collaborate on detection capabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; Master's preferred

Advanced knowledge of incident response methodologies and digital forensics

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 7 years focused on incident response

Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and forensic tools

Preferred certifications include GCIH, GCIA, GREM, GCFA, OSCP, or CISSP
