Machine Learning Engineer / Researcher

Salary : Up to $300k Base

Location : Bay area

The Role

First hire owning agentic video pipelines. Build routing, fine-tuning, and backend logic that powers a next-gen video co-pilot. High autonomy. No hand-holding.

What Youll Own

Agentic pipelines for video / image tasks
Routing across open-source + external VLM / LLM providers
Fine-tuning + post-training on targeted tasks
Low-latency backend services for video understanding
Turning product needs into shipped features

Must-Haves

2+ years fine-tuning LLMs / VLMs

Hands-on with video / image models

Built agentic or multimodal applications

Comfortable as the only specialist building the foundation
