Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,122 per week in Columbia, MO

The unit features enhanced safety features including video monitoring, ligature alarms, and anti-barricade doors. Charge nurse and supervisor are present on every shift to support patient care. Patient demographics include adults with a range of conditions, including alcohol and drug withdrawal, delirium, and altered mental status. The unit provides specialized care to behavioral health patients. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Nurses will manage a variety of procedures and care for complex patient needs, including wound care, oxygen administration, and medication management. Nurses are expected to float to different units as needed, providing flexibility to address patient care needs across the facility. Travelers must comply with floating policies and be available for shifts including weekends and holiday coverage. CPI Blue Card is required for this specialty.
