About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to spearhead the technology strategy as its platform experiences significant growth. This is a pivotal role that demands a leader with a hands-on approach and a wealth of experience in high-scale iGaming backends. The successful candidate will be responsible for the architecture and technical direction of the platform, ensuring it can scale to meet the demands of a live, full-roadmap environment. Key responsibilities include evolving the platform to support new game types and features, leading and mentoring engineering teams, and driving the adoption of best practices in code quality, testing, and delivery. The CTO will also be instrumental in strengthening the platform's performance, reliability, and resilience, as well as guiding the teams in the adoption of AI where it adds value.

Essential experience for this role includes a background in senior engineering leadership within a product company with live traffic, several years' experience with a casino platform provider or iGaming backend, and a strong understanding of various technical aspects such as game aggregation, operator integrations, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in backend development, systems architecture, and experience with cloud infrastructure, CI / CD tooling, and high-availability environments. Clear communication skills in English are a must, as the role involves collaboration with a globally distributed team in a fast-moving, regulated industry. The CTO will be at the forefront of tackling real technical problems at scale, mentoring teams, and influencing the product direction in a data-driven environment.
