Operating Room (OR) RN – Job Summary

The OR Registered Nurse uses critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership to plan and provide safe, effective perioperative care. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficiency in alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities : Case scheduling, supply readiness, timely case progression, family communication, updating preference cards, circulating and scrubbing, and supervising personnel involved in patient care.

Facility Requirements

License : Idaho RN or Compact RN (must be attached at submission)

Certs : BLS & ACLS (AHA only; must be attached)

Experience : Minimum 3 years recent hospital OR RN

Required areas : General surgery, Ortho, Trauma, Neuro

Preferred : DaVinci robotics, robotic knee replacements

Shift : 8-hour Days | 06 : 30–15 : 00, Monday–Friday

Call : 1 weekday per week + 1 weekend per month
