Job Requirements

Education Requirements : Valid radiologic license issued by the State of Texas or equivalent
Certifications Requirements : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), RCIS, ARRT (preferred)
Experience Requirements : At least 1 year of experience in Special Procedures or Cath / EP cases, experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc), or previous Cath / EP Lab setting
Other Requirements : Must hold an active State of TX Medical Radiologic License, be willing to obtain certifications if not active, possess a current skills checklist (less than a year old), provide two supervisory references within last year, and disclose any previous Parkland employment history

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment and invasive devices during procedures.

Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to execute complex cases efficiently.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Support pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure care, including patient education and equipment sterilization.
