About The Position

Position : Locum Neuroendovascular Surgeon

Location : Chattanooga, TN

Setting : Acute Care / Inpatients / Interventional Neurology Lab / OR

Schedule & Availability

Ongoing locum coverage

Days per month : TBD (flexible)

Call back coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities

Perform endovascular neuro procedures including thrombectomies and aneurysm repairs

Document procedure notes, operative notes, and post-op follow-up notes in Epic EMR

Collaborate with APPs, RN / RT support in Interventional Lab, and standard OR staff

Job Requirements

Required Procedures & Skills

Endovascular neuro procedures

Thrombectomies

Aneurysm interventions

Dealbreaker : Must be a neurosurgeon with an endovascular fellowship capable of performing surgeries

Support Staff

Inpatient hospital : APP coverage 24 / 7

Interventional Neuro Lab : RN & RT trained in endovascular neuro cases

OR : Standard RN, Surgical Tech, and ancillary OR support

Requirements

Board Certified Neurosurgeon – Required

Endovascular Fellowship – Required

State License – TN license or IMLC – Required

DEA & BLS – Required

Clean Malpractice – Required

Compensation

Hourly Rate : $430 / hr

24-Hour Coverage Rate : $4,000 (includes 4 hrs gratis)

Call Back Rate : $450 / hr
