Small Commercial Underwriter

A company is looking for a Small Commercial Underwriter / Senior Underwriter. Key Responsibilities Develop strong, collaborative relationships with agents and wholesalers to support business growth Implement sales and marketing strategies to promote Workers' Compensation and BOP policies Evaluate and underwrite small commercial accounts while monitoring performance and providing customer support Required Qualifications Experience underwriting small business accounts is strongly preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Liberal Arts, or a related discipline 1 to 5 years of underwriting experience Beginning coursework toward certification in the area of expertise preferred Appropriate certifications could include Associate in Underwriting (AU) or Chartered Property Casualty
