Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Hospitalist MD / DO to join our established practice. We offer a nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available, CME allowance and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice highlights and environment :

• 24 / 7 inpatient care for children with both routine and complex medical conditions.
• Pediatric sedation service for noninvasive procedures and imaging studies.
• In-person and telemedicine consultative services for on-site EDs, urgent care locations and outlying facilities.
• Manage a newborn nursery, attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation / stabilization as needed.
• Part of a vital program within an integrated, not-for-profit health system.
• 24x7 intensivist support provided by NICU and PICU.
• Thriving pediatric subspecialty group including various specialties.
• Co-located inpatient and outpatient services with centralized program, comprehensive lab and supportive facilities.
• Systemwide EPIC EMR with on-site support.
• Care for a culturally and socioeconomically diverse patient population.
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible for non-profit system.

Responsibilities

Summary : Cares for pediatric patients referred by the emergency department, urgent care and primary care providers, and returns care at discharge. The hospitalist manages pediatric inpatients and collaborates with nurse case managers, care coordinators, consulting and primary care physicians to provide efficient and compassionate care.
