Schedule 12-hour day shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. Must be able to work 2 of 3 winter holidays. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience and will provide care to a patient population that includes a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients, neuro patients, and CVA patients. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critical patients. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor patients’ vital signs and perform critical interventions as needed. Document patient care and communicate effectively with the team. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care nursing. Active Virginia or Compact Registered Nurse License required upon start. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. NIH Stroke Scale certification is preferred but may be obtained during orientation. Charge experience is preferred.
