Title : CT Technologist (X-Ray & CT)
Location : Columbia, SC
Duration : 6 weeks
Shift : Night Shift, 4x10-Hour (21 : 00–07 : 30), Tuesday–Friday
Job Responsibilities :
Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging with minimal supervision in an acute care environment.Conduct CT exams of the abdomen, pelvis, chest (with / without contrast), vascular CTA, trauma imaging, head / neck studies, spine, and musculoskeletal trauma.Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol, ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation safety standards.Start peripheral IVswhen indicated for contrast administration.Utilize image post-processing tools including multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region-of-interest measurement (ROI).Operate Siemens CT scanner, portable X-ray equipment, and PACS systems.Perform imaging for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations with a daily census of approximately 40 exams.Follow isolation precautions and maintain strict adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary departments to ensure accurate and efficient workflow.Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required.ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) – required.SCRQSA (R) and SCRQSA (CT) – required.BLS certification – required.Epic charting experience – required.Proficiency with abdominal, pelvic, chest, vascular, musculoskeletal, head / neck, and trauma imaging.Experience with PACS and Siemens CT systems preferred.Competency in contrast administration, radiation safety, and emergency department imaging workflows.First-time travelers accepted.Radiation badge required (must be supplied by the agency).About HonorVet Technologies
