Reviews purchase requisitions, prepares purchase orders, and forwards for approval. Contacts vendors to expedite deliveries, negotiate prices, and effect the return of rejected shipments. Becomes familiar with subsidiary material requirements and applicable legislation pertaining to purchasing. Completes paperwork as assigned.
Required : Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week during the school year and full time during the summer months (will be flexible around class commitments). Currently in their Sophomore year or greater and pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
