SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP / PA) functions as a member of a multidisciplinary heath care team to provide total primary care of patients in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other health care professionals. Follows established standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

• For nurse practitioners : Master's degree in nursing and Licensed as a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
• For physician assistants / associates : Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
