Medical Assistant – Correctional Facility (Columbia Station, OH)

Pay : $17–$18 / hr

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM–3 : 00 PM (No weekends or holidays)

Contract : Long-term

Job Summary :

You’ll help nurses and doctors care for patients inside a correctional facility. Your role is hands-on and supports basic medical tasks, keeping the clinic organized, clean, and ready for daily use.

General Duties :

• Help nurses and doctors with basic patient care tasks.
• Get patients and medical equipment ready for exams and procedures.
• Take and record vital signs (like blood pressure, temperature, weight), run simple tests, and perform EKGs.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and set up for the next patient.
• Assist coworkers when needed and help keep supplies organized.
• Respect patient privacy and follow all facility policies and healthcare rules (including HIPAA).
