• Mason City, IA - 120 miles from Des Moines Full time, permanent opening Employed position Provide Pulmonology services to patients in the outpatient setting and consultation services to inpatients Outreach to clinic services at critical access hospitals in the area Share inpatient consult call Instruct and counsels patients regarding physical and mental health Order or supplies medication appropriate for the patient Refer patients to appropriate specialists Provide immediate evaluation and treatment for emergency medical problems. Directs emergency personnel in the transport of the patient Document all patient care activities and follow-up care Maintains knowledge of community services, agencies, and resources
