Summary : Arizona Liver Health and is looking for qualified candidates for a TEMPORARY - Research Advanced Practice Provider (APP) position in Peoria, AZ. Successful candidates are Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) who have previous experience in clinical research and / or gastroenterology (GI) and / or hepatology with a high understanding of research protocol and what it means to be a sub investigator for a clinical trial. patients on therapeutic options through available liver clinical trials onsite.Performs specialized procedure(s) and works with MD on patient diagnosis.Counseling patients and their families, as well as collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physician's assistants or nurse practitioners.Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for
patient care in clinical trials and perform safety medical reviews.Work with various research staff members such as clinical research coordinators and research recruiters to complete visits and submit accurate source
detailed review of documentation for studies, charting, and proper informed consents.Communicate with research team members regarding studies and fully understand the protocols.Takes study and a patient from first visit to closeout.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities RequiredMust have previous experience in clinical research with a high level of understanding of research processes and protocols.Proficient in use of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive as well as practice's EMR system (eCW)Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong ability to identify issues with "quietly unhappy"
