Qualifications

• United States citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when recruitment of qualified citizens is not possible.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an institution approved by the VA for the year of graduation.
• Full and unrestricted state medical license.
• Completed residency training accredited by the VA in an orthopedic specialty leading to board‑certification eligibility.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Preferred : Board certification.
• Physical performance : lifting up to 35 pounds, moderate carrying, and other movement tasks as listed in the original specifications.

Base pay range : $280,000.00–$400,000.00 per year.
