The Role :

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for being a part of and overseeing an accounting team that focuses on completing accounting services for our clients - public and affordable housing organizations. The successful candidate will focus on handling client situations, reviewing auditor reports, overseeing a team of accountants, and other client accounting needs. This role will be servicing a branch of MRI, Lindsey Software. Lindsey is an accounting services division that staffs public and affordable housing accounting experts to handle client accounting needs.

You Will :

• Manage team to align with department Standard Operating Procedures
• Review fiscal year end financial statements and workpapers
• Ensure client work is completed timely – monthly financial statements, budgets, operating subsidy, monthly VMS, MD&A, FDS, etc.
• Communicate timely with clients and co-workers
• Attend industry trade shows periodically
