Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Public Relations (PR) and Social Media Manager with a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry. This role will lead our public relations strategy, drive brand awareness, and shape the company’s narrative across global markets and target customer segments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing media relations, creating impactful PR campaigns, and positioning a brand as a thought leader in industry. This position reports to the VP, Corporate Marketing.
The typical base pay range for this position is USD $148,000 - $232,100 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Responsibilities & Competencies
Job Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PR and Social Media Strategy aligned with company objectives
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on PR and go-to-market communication
- Own and drive a comprehensive PR calendar which incorporates product launch announcements, news briefs, speaking opportunities, keynotes, industry award submissions, PR roadshows, strategic media events, etc.
- Enable key spokespersons and business leaders to shape their narrative and technology message
- Secure consistent media coverage in top-tier business / finance / technology publications and trade media
- Manage external PR agencies and contractors, including definition and ownership of SoWs, projects / deliverables, and KPIs with a focus on strong collaboration and clear outcomes
- Create well-written, compelling content for press releases, media kits, byline articles, blogs, and other communication materials
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligns with corporate objectives, brand voice, and style
- Develop and promote executive profiles, speaking engagements, and thought leadership opportunities
- Proactively prepare crisis communication plans and manage issues when they arise
- Provide timely responses to any PR challenges to safeguard the company’s brand and reputation
- Lead PR initiatives for product launches, trade shows, and corporate events in partnership with the rest of the Corporate Marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Track and analyze PR metrics to assess effectiveness and ROI
- Prepare regular reports for leadership on PR outcomes and opportunities

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field or equivalent12+ years of experience in public relations, including 5+ years in the semiconductor or technology industry and 4+ years leading teamsDemonstrated expertise in crafting cross-cultural campaigns, with experience tailoring messaging for diverse international audiencesExperience in media relations, including working with industry journalists, editors, analysts, and influencersDeep storytelling, communication, and content development experienceTrack record of managing high-pressure situations and providing strategic guidanceFamiliarity with news wires, PR software, and hands-on experience using media monitoring tools such as SproutSocial, MuckRack, etc.Minimal travel up to 10% requiredBelief in Diversity
