timesheets for union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and complianceProcess a minimum of 60 Driver Bus Reports (DBRs) per District guidelines and meet payroll deadlinesWork across multiple payroll and timekeeping platforms to ensure accurate record-keepingMaintain compliance with district and union payroll policiesCollaborate with internal teams, including HR, Billing, and Operations, to facilitate payroll processingCalculate pay discrepancies, resolve payroll-related inquiries, and ensure adherence to labor contractsSupport HR with onboarding activities, including documentation collection and payroll system setupMaintain strict confidentiality in handling payroll and employee records.Ensure payroll adjustments are properly documented and communicated to relevant partiesSupport training initiatives by keeping payroll and trainee databases updatedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred3-5+ years of experience in a payroll-related roleExperience in transportation, logistics, or a similar industry preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides and Gmail) and ability to learn new systems quicklyDemonstrated ten-key and data entry skills; with the ability to maintain accuracy and speedAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities effectivelyHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and payroll processingStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive informationKnowledge of union payroll policies and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) is a plus$80,000 - $87,000 a yearThe targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
