This facility is a teaching hospital with a variety of services. It features a diverse patient population in a medical ICU setting. The unit has a total of 14 beds with patient ratios of 1 : 2. Common patient conditions include sepsis, respiratory issues, and some cardiac and trauma cases. Ideal candidates will have a teamwork-oriented personality and hold each other accountable to best practices. Required equipment includes IABP, although it is used occasionally. The facility utilizes an electronic health record system. Weekend hours will be required every other weekend. There are no call requirements for this position.
