Middle School Spanish Teacher Responsibilities :

  • Teach four sections of middle school Spanish, covering levels from introductory Spanish through Spanish II.
  • Desire to contribute to the development of the Foreign Language curriculum and supporting the school’s academic advancement.
  • Lead engaging Spanish conversational classes focused on pronunciation, essential vocabulary, and practical language use.
  • Teach students about Spanish culture, fostering an understanding of traditions, customs, and cultural practices across Spanish-speaking countries.
  • Research and implement effective teaching strategies, including innovative materials and language games to enhance student learning
  • Integrate educational technology into daily instruction to enhance student engagement, personalize learning, and support academic achievement.
  • Organizing feedback sessions with students and their parents if applicable.

Middle School Spanish Teacher Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with middle school students.
  • Recent grads welcome if possess master's degree and experience as a graduate teaching assistant.
  • Near native fluency in Spanish required.
  • Knowledge of ACTFL standards preferred.
  • No teaching license or credential is required.
  • Additional Desired Qualities :

  • Willingness to work with middle school students.
  • Passion for foreign language education.
  • Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.
