Number of Beds – Facility features 28 bed IRF and 383 acute care hospital (avg census 240)

Number of Staff – 15 OT’s on staff (F / T, P / T, and PRN staff)

Type of staff :

Day Shift – Staffed to support patient care needs

Night Shift - NONE

Patient Ratios – 4 patients / day (IRF) 8-12 patients / day (acute care)

Type of equipment – 2 therapy gyms, ADL apartment

EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for :

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Weekend flexibility

Willingness to work on IRF unit

Critical thinking / clinical reasoning

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Hospital / IRF experience (highly preferred)

Stroke / neuro experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :

Evaluation, treatment, discharge

Team conferences, family training

Adaptive devices, adaptive equipment

1 weekend shift / month MINUMUM. Highly prefer increased weekend flexibility

Active OT license, active BLS certification

Required Qualifications

Occupational Therapist, Rehab

Experience : 1 year

Certifications : BLS-AHA

SSN Required

Work History : Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year
