Radiation Oncology job opening in Quincy, IL About the Opportunity :

  • University town located 2 hours to St Louis; 3 hours to Kansas City; 1.5 hours to Springfield IL
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Compensation : Base salary exceeds the MGMA median, and all physicians are eligible for a productivity incentive bonus plan based on work production as measured by WRVUs. A forgivable loan for educational debt will be considered. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance included.
  • Benefits : Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD & D insurance, malpractice coverage with tail, 403(b) pension plan plus 457(b) tax-deferral option, employee child care center, 4-6 weeks annual paid time off plus one week of CME time, professional expense allowance, and more.

  • Two hospitals, a physician group, a four-year nursing education program, a foundation and a group of medical specialty businesses come together to form this Healthcare System.
  • Physician Services group is a 60+ provider, multi-specialty group affiliated with not-for-profit health system, the largest medical provider serving a 300,000 population region composed of West Central Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa.
  • The city of Quincy is located on the limestone bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River, and is renowned for its natural beauty, preservation of its exceptional stock of Victorian Era homes, and its highly developed programs in the arts. It has been cited as one of the 50 top small arts communities in the U.S., and one of the top 100 small cities in which to live. In 2010, Forbes Magazine listed Quincy as the #8 Best Small City in the U.S. to Raise a Family. Quincy s Baldwin Field offers six commuter flights daily to St. Louis and Amtrak provides two round trip passenger trains daily to Chicago.
