Job Description

The second largest hospital in Georgia is seeking to employ a board certified / board eligible Family Practice physician to provide services in a hybrid of traditional family medicine and same day / urgent care in Forsyth, GA.  The physician will also be a part of the Accountable Care Organization.  The office is located in the Medical Mall which includes diagnostics and specialty practices.

The physician will serve in one of the system’s community hospitals, a 25 bed, Critical Access Hospital, which provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The hospital is accredited by the  Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.  This satellite hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of the local community since 1957. Primary care has been a mainstay among the hospital’s medical staff since the hospital’s very beginning.

The physician will provide the highest quality health care possible. Coordinate and facilitate clinical, administrative and professional activities as delegated by Medical Director and Administration; Collaborate with other physicians, staff and community agencies to provide continuity of care for patients in any designated setting. The physician ensures all services are delivered safely, confidentially and promptly.

• Education : Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine Degree
• Experience : Two years of experience preferred.
• Certification / License / Registration : Current license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia, Board Certified or eligible in his / her specialty.
