Maintenance Technician

ITU AbsorbTech is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team in Neenah WI.

In this role you will :

• Troubleshooting electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machinery
• Repairing electrical equipment
• Disassembling devices to remove defective parts
• Inspecting potential defective parts to detect wear and failure
• Inspecting suspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
• Adjusting functional equipment and machine parts and controls
• Generating purchase order for parts and machines
• Repairing or replacing defective parts
• Installing appropriate machine guarding devices and unique functional and structural parts in devices
• Testing device performance to assure safe operation of repaired equipment and machinery
• Performing all preventative maintenance
• Completing work order to document all work performed
• Setting up and operating equipment as needed to perform maintenance and diagnostics

Pay : $24-$28 an hour based on experience. $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

1st or 2nd Shift Schedule : 4am-12 : 30pm or 12 pm-8 : 30pm; Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.

Education and Experience :

Associates Degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience. Incumbent must be detail-oriented dependable and have a positive attitude.
