HP Print Operator 1st Shift

Location : Liverpool, NY

Shift : MondayFriday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM

Pay : $25.77 per hour

Job Overview

The HP Print Operator plays a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality digital printing operations, primarily working with HP IQHD - HP1 Printers. This position supports daily production goals through attention to detail, equipment care, and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret order specifications, setups, and special instructions accurately.

Operate and maintain digital printing equipment per established procedures.

Perform routine inspections and report repair or replacement needs.

Monitor work-in-process and ensure jobs meet quality and productivity standards.

Complete required quality documentation accurately and on time.

Maintain proper inventory levels for materials and supplies.

Use raw materials efficiently and responsibly.

Follow autonomous maintenance routines and assist with equipment upkeep.

Participate in continuous improvement (ELS, Kaizen) and 5S workplace organization activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

02 years of relevant experience.

Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and technical aptitude.

Proficient in basic math and comfortable using computers and email.

Must be motivated to improve productivity, safety, and quality.

Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to earn required certifications within set timeframes

Preferred :

Pre-press knowledge

Digital printing experience, especially with HP printers

HP 7K / 6600 Level 1 or 2 Certification

Hazardous materials training
