Specialist - Strategy & Business Development
Position Duties :
Generate management reports, attend and represent Sales at business reviews, and provide presentations to the business units and upper management. Analyze and drive the Budget and Strategy Dialogue process. Create competitor overviews, customers and business opportunities, and help identify how additional business can be generated. Analyze sales and margin deviations and drive activities for improvements. Prepare and attend Audits and ensure critical KPI's are achieved. Follow up on technological trends, attend conferences, and effectively distribute information gained to the Sales team. Align account commercial strategies with Business Division objectives such as engine roadmaps and business plans. Track, monitor, and explain sales and gross margin deviations, sales plans, and forecasts. Recommend monthly accruing strategy that aligns with expected business opportunities. Create and communicate all strategy business development and sales reports, plans, forecasts, and administrative requirements to senior management by the agreed upon deadlines. Analyze current market position and propose SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. Provide regular feedback on Market conditions, competitor activities, and progress towards business objectives. Support general financial management and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) analysis. Work together with AR team for weekly DSO reviews. Prepare for internal and external financial and corporate audits (TUEV, ICS). Support and manage ongoing commercial activities such as Claim Management. Monitor department KPIs such as DSO, DOH, and RFQ. Assure the correct credit / debits creation. Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries. Follow up with plants regarding PFRs and warranty issues.
