Technical Project Manager - Supply Chain / Warehouse / Logistics We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Product Manager to be the critical link between our client's Warehouse Operations and IT / Technology teams. This pivotal role is responsible for driving efficiency, identifying high-impact improvement opportunities, and ensuring our warehouse systems and processes are optimized and strategically aligned with overarching business goals. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading development teams, implementing complex warehouse systems, and using data to inform product strategy. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership : Act as the primary liaison between business operations and technology, partnering directly with Warehouse Managers to identify operational pain points, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities. Product Definition : Translate complex operational needs into clear, actionable business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team. Prioritization & Roadmap : Develop, own, and manage the product roadmap for warehouse systems (e.g., WMS, ERP), prioritizing enhancements and initiatives to deliver maximum value and operational efficiency. Data Analysis : Utilize strong SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tool skills to analyze warehouse data, validate solution impacts, and support data-driven decision-making. Execution & Delivery : Manage development and support teams throughout the full product lifecycle (design, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment) for process and system improvements. Performance Measurement : Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively measure the success, impact, and ROI of implemented solutions and system changes. Technology Scouting : Stay current on emerging warehouse technology trends and logistics best practices, recommending and championing new tools or system improvements. Required Skills & Experience Domain Expertise : Proven professional experience in warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, or distribution center management. Product / Technical Leadership : 5+ years of experience in a Product Manager or Technical Team Lead role, successfully managing and delivering software solutions with cross-functional teams. Technical Acumen : Strong background in designing, architecting, and translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications. Data Proficiency : Expert data analysis skills, including the ability to write robust SQL queries, extract key operational insights, and present findings clearly to executive stakeholders. System Knowledge : Deep familiarity with core warehouse technologies, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and related supply chain software. Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical IT / Development teams and non-technical Operations staff. Problem-Solving : Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to balance addressing immediate operational needs ("quick wins") against pursuing long-term strategic system improvements. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related quantitative field. (MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus).
