LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Shreveport, Louisiana, 71105!

Pay Information

$475 to $525 per hour

About The Position

Gastroenterology Locums Physician, Louisiana - Temp Privileges Available

Short-term inpatient GI coverage available in Louisiana; within city limits of Shreveport.

Highlights

  • Temp privileges offered; start quickly with a clean background
  • Priority coverage needed for a 7-day November block
  • ERCP / EUS skills welcomed but not required
  • Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

  • 166-bed hospital environment
  • Work with one other physician (part-time), plus MA, tech, and full nursing support
  • 100% inpatient focus; no clinic responsibilities

    • Schedule

  • 24-hour call during 7-day stints
  • Onsite coverage 8a-5p daily while on assignment
  • More dates expected following initial week

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Inpatient consults : approx. 5 per day
  • Full GI scope with ERCP / EUS optional
  • Procedures vary; no clinic during this assignment

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Active Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage fully reimbursed
  • Comfortable, fully covered stay while on assignment
