Urology Ultrasound Tech – Contract Opportunity

Location : 41 Waconah Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201

Role Overview

The Urology Ultrasound Tech supports the Urology Care Team by performing renal and bladder ultrasounds during patient visits and collaborating with urologists and clinical staff. This role requires strong attention to detail, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform urology-focused ultrasound exams (renal, bladder)

Assist with sterile procedure setup and maintain sterile technique

Assist with patient mobility, transferring, and equipment handling

Work independently and efficiently in a busy clinical environment

Collaborate with onsite lab and urology providers

Requirements

Experience in Urology ultrasound strongly preferred

Familiarity with sterile technique and sterile tray setup

Ability to work in a demanding environment and lift / move patients / equipment

COVID-19 vaccination required (dose on or after 10 / 3 / 23)

Exemption requires approved signed documentation; if approved, masking is mandatory

Scheduling & RTO

No more than 5 days RTO accepted; must be submitted with profile

RTO requests after submission will not be approved

Holiday requirement : Must work ONE of the following blocks :

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day + post-holiday weekend

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day + post-holiday weekend

Extensions : Ends falling in Nov–Dec not eligible for early-2026 extension

Additional Details

8 hours non-billable orientation

Holiday / OT / Callback Pay Rate : 1.25x

Call Allowance : $4 / hr

Charge Pay : Not applicable
