GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

• Under occasional supervision, serves as lead medical staff of an ambulance or other medical transport unit for the EMS Department.
• Work involves providing leadership to lower-level EMTs, providing pre-hospital care to the critically injured or ill within the parameters of license / certification, preparing and maintaining EMS records and reports as required, and performing related work as assigned.
• Reports to the EMS Lieutenant.
