As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.

What you'll do...

Architect and design remote testing infrastructure.

Develop and implement strategic plans for remote lab evolution.

Drive continuous improvement of lab infrastructure, tools, and processes.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams.

Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.

Develop and maintain KPIs to track lab performance.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop resolution.

Leverage GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and other AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and drive innovation in automation and tooling.

Provide coaching and mentoring junior engineers in the team

What You’ll Bring

Strong understanding in Linux-based system and network engineering

Experience with consumer electronics platforms (Smart TV, Set Top Box, Streaming devices).

Extensive experience in system architecture and automationplatforms.

Strong hands-on coding skill / expertise in (C / C++ / Python)

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and tools.

Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).

Bonus Points

Embedded / Linux based hardware / software system design (Preferably on Raspberry Pi systems)

Full stack (front / backend) application / software development experience

Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of networking and security best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Option 2 : 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
