Senior Environmental Project Manager
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Project Manager ready to advance their career in a leadership role focused on environmental revitalization. This isn’t just a technical position, it’s a chance to take the lead on high-impact Brownfield projects and play a key role in advancing economic and environmental progress across the Midwest.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee Brownfield redevelopment projects from initial investigation through remediation and construction
- Guide municipalities and developers in leveraging local and state incentive programs to support redevelopment
- Manage multiple environmental projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk
- Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations (EPA, CERCLA, Brownfield programs)
- Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, developers, and environmental stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and contribute expertise across interdisciplinary teams
- Write proposals, support business development, and identify new project opportunities
- Maintain strong client relationships, including project communication and billing oversight

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldExperience
At least 10 years in environmental remediation or Brownfield redevelopmentMinimum of 5 years in a project management role with experience leading multidisciplinary teamsExpertise in environmental site assessments (Phase I & II), remediation technologies, and complianceExperience with incentives and grant management is a plusYou Excel At
