Direct Hire Physical Therapist Assistant Role $68,993 per year in Sacramento, California

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY (not contract).

Key Responsibilities :

• Provides direct patient care to patients ages 55 and up under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to improve patient movement and function, applying exercises, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities
• Observe patients during therapy, record their progress, and report findings to the PT for review and adjustments to the treatment plan. xklufbp
• Implement treatment plans prescribed by the supervising PT by performing exercises, stretching, balance training, and gait training
• Apply physical agents like heat, cold, or electrical stimulation to specific muscles or joints as directed by the PT.
• Occasionally assist patients with DME set-up
