We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Plano, TX. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction and construction processes by preparing precise cost estimates that help ensure successful project completions. Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze proposals, blueprints, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed job estimates and cost reports to support project planning and execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other departments to ensure projects remain on budget and progress smoothly.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary details and manage expectations.
- Handle project-specific estimating tasks from inception to completion, including cost updates, changes, and handoffs to General Contractors (GCs).
- Balance multiple takeoffs for a portfolio of both fast-paced and long-term projects across various industries.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant estimating experience within construction or a related field.Ability to navigate construction blueprints and finish schedules.Proficiency in Measure Square estimating software (preferred), or similar programs like Callidus.Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems like Structure is preferred.Previous experience in commercial flooring estimation is ideal but other construction industries (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, engineering) will be considered.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in high-paced environments.
